I have been doing 5:2 and my average calorie intake is 1200 per day. This week I weigh the same as last week. What am I doing wrong?

It's only been 1 week. You probably just need to be more patient. Weight loss is never going to be linear and sometimes you'll see weeks without a loss even if you've done everything perfectly.
Other than that, the usual suspects are miscalculations in either calories eaten or calories burned.
You're logging everything you eat? Including condiments, cooking oils, veggies, cheat days, etc? Are you using a food scale, measuring cups, or eyeballing your portion sizes? Most people can be off in their estimates by as lot when they eyeball portions. Measuring cups are better, but a food scale is always going to be the most accurate.

And make sure that you've calculated your calorie goals appropriately. Remember that these are just estimates. You may need to play around a little to find what works best for you.

If you're exercising and eating back your earned exercise calories, be sure that you're using accurate estimates of your burn. MFP and gym machines have a tendency to overestimate certain activities, which can cause you to eat back more calories than you need to. Even a heart rate monitor isn't 100% accurate. If you're eating those extra earned calories it might be a good idea to eat only 50-75% of those.0 -

I record everything meticulously. I also don't record my exercise so don't eat it back. I'm not managing a lot or exercise at the moment as I'm just recovering from an MS relapse. Maybe I'm just expecting something to happen too quickly. Thanks for links, they'll help a lot!0 -
I have a rough week too, Ive been consistantly losing 2lbs a week, but this week I have measured myself 3 days in a row and am 1.5 lbs heavier. Frustrating but you are probably not doing anything wrong, it will all even out. Make sure you are weighing and measuring your food, guesstimates can be bad.0

Open diary?
Anything else change in your life at the same time (such as adding an exercise regimen)? Is it near your period?0 -
I have MS and seem to be given one pill after another at the moment. Most have increased appetite or weight gain as a side effect but I thought if I didn't allow myself to eat like a horse I'll be fine.0
