Thanksgiving is a week away and I'm sure many will be struggling to get back to pre-gobble gobble weights. There's been an ongoing challenge up to Thanksgiving to lose 10-20 (9 weeks) and it's been mentioned to do another similar thing for Christmas. That's 4 weeks, so the goals have changed a bit due to the shorter time frame. So for this one, the general goal is 5-10 lbs by Christmas.
I personally didn't do so well, losing a cumulative 4 ounces over the whole period (but 5 lbs overall). I also have been really bad about tracking & working out lately. But I find the more I'm accountable to others, the harder I'm inclined to work. I did great the first couple of weeks and then life kicked me off road and I've been floundering ever since. Time to get BACK on the track AGAIN and keep pushing.
I don't care who runs this message board - just figured I'd start it early enough so people could jump on board sooner rather than later since it's only a 4 week challenge and I'm sure people will be rather busy next week. This Challenge will officially start Friday, Nov. 26th and end on Friday, December 24th. Weigh ins on the Thanksgiving challenge was on Wednesdays and if that's what works for people, we can keep it that, but you're welcome to post your introduction and start weight and charts as early as the day after TDay, if you'd like (not like we won't all be jumping on our scales anyway to see what the damage is! .. LOL!!!).
