I am 178cm and maintaining at 185 for few years, ~40lb more than I would like to carry.
Have been trying for years, but without proper research. Religiously did cardio (only) for 6 months but gorged pizzas later. Lost 2-4 lbs but piled up again.
This time, i spent a month in research; understanding how metabolism works and learned the importance of lean muscle mass.
So I am, back again with all the resolve to do it this time.
My objective is to lose 40lbs from current 185 to ideal 145 with low carb diet (<= 60 gms) and building lean muscle mass on the way.
You folks on MFP are great support and inspiration; have been reading success stories everywhere. Keep it up!! ????????
