so you think what you have lost, or want to lose isn't a bunch of weight? here's my encouragement to you: find something that is either the weight you have lost or want to lose and carry it around for awhile.
going to your store of choice and picking up dog/cat food is great. then carry it, not push it in a cart, around the store for 30 minutes or more. you will be AMAZED at how the weight feels in your arms.

i buy big sacks of dog food, and the last time I bought one, I realized...that 50 lbs is HEAVY! OMG that's what I lost (so far). I cannot believe I was literally carrying that around! (No wonder my feet were sore all the time!)0

That is a great comparison! Nobody wants to carry around 5, 10, 20, 50 pounds of stuff if they can put it in a cart! Great challenge!0

This is a great idea. It is so easy to get caught up in 'That isn't much weight' until you have to lug it around. I have seen them do that on another show where contestants lost weight and then for a challenge had to lug around a jacket while running around a track. When there were done, they were told it was the exact weight that they lost. They got to throw it down and think how they never wanted to carry it around again. Thanks for the motivation!!!0

When I hit 45 pounds lost I went and carried around my 7 year old niece. She weighs about 40 or 45 pounds. It was pure craziness!! But it makes you feel good and like you really accomplished something. I agree with the above poster. No wonder my feet hurt all the dang time!0

I did that this morning.....I've hit the 8 lb. mark! So, I picked up my 8 lb. hand weights and couldn't believe how heavy they are! (Even though I use them every morning!) Great post, Jane!0
