I am planning on buying a HRM to see how many calories I burn so that I can try to break the plateau of 130lbs I hover around. Any opinions on which is the best? I dance and do jillian michaels and Chalene johnson workouts at home when I can

I have the polar ft4 and have been using it for a month just strength training at the gym. It works great so far and the band is discreet with a t shirt. Cheapest place to buy is ebay and I got it for like 60$
I only use it for the calorie counting option. Based off of my weight loss since I have had it, I would say it is pretty accurate at counting.
The best thing about knowing exactly what you burn is that you don't have to guess how many calories you earned.0 -
All of the Polar HRM are great! I love mine. You don't need to fancy expensive ones. My hubby got the FT7 and it works great! I have the Polar FT40. Both work wonderful.0
