Looking to find that "new" me

I recently had my whole life change into this new perspective, a mommy! Everyone says," it's not about you anymore, it's about the baby." I say," why not? why not BOTH baby and I?"
I have struggled with my weight since college. I got too involved in partying every night and eating garbage food at all hours of the day. I ran myself into the ground with late night studying and "quick snack" eating. My health was not my priority, but now it is!
I joined Weight Watchers 2 years ago. I decided after college I needed my confidence back. That is where I lost 30 pounds and man, did I feel GREAT! I was confident, engaged to marry my best friend, and having the time of my life (and feeling good doing it!)
Not long after our wedding, we got pregnant with our first. I did very good eating well and exercising up until the last 2 months. I was eating non-stop and lost interest in exercise due to complete exhaustion from pregnancy. Needless to say, I gained over 40 pounds. My heaviest ever!!
Now, I want my old body back. I want to be HEALTHY again ) For ME AND MY SON (and my husband too!). I want to be that mom that can play football in the back yard, take long walks, go bike riding, and just BE THERE for Tyson while he grows through life. My husband is a very active man, so I guess you could say I need to be able to keep up with him as well.
I am so ready for this new life journey as a new mom....but I want the baby weight GONE! I am hoping that this site and support from y'all will get me there by New Years! That is my goal--and I will do what it takes to get there. Here's to a new me, a new body, and whole new perspective on life ~*CHEERS*~
