Eating Well Overseas

Hello Everyone!!!
I am recently rejoining MFP for some support through my health and fitness goal. I orginally joined in 2010 after my deployment to Iraq, I was having a hard time getting back into the swing of things and I really liked the food diary and different support groups you can find here. Well anyway I am currently supporting the troops as a contractor here in Afghanistan and was hoping to get any advice from ANYONE that has been here and tried to maintain some semblence of healthiness while they were and their success. I know more than anything it is mental. I have a hard time in the chow hall trying to make quick decisions because there are so many people in there and so much temptation its difficult trying to make a good choice. Actually any support from anyone is really appreciated just wanted to get a little thread going.
