Biggest Looser USA

I dunno if it's just me..but has anyone else gotten completely obsessed with diet tv shows? The Biggest Looser USA is showing in the Uk in the mornings @ 6am, conveniently when i am on my exercise bike..and i am totally obsessed with it.. It's the one where they had couples, i can't believe the weight losses they have, sometimes up to 10lbs A WEEK??

I know they train all day and have diet specialists to help them 24/7 but crikey i am so wishing i was able to go on that show! They really do work miracles on there, one bloke has lost i think 144 Lbs in just 16 weeks.. it really does amaze me..

I just wondered if anyone else was as fascinated by this programme as me..or if i'm just a bit of a freak lol :laugh:

    I love biggest loser too! It motivates me every week! A great show to teach us how to become healthy in the right ways!

    I Love that show...It's very encouraging to me! Jillian MIchaels and Bob are the best! I would love one workout with them!!!

    I love the show too. Great at keeping me motivated. I even just bought an exercise video from Jillian. I'm going to break it out this weekend I think.

    I'm an addict. I watch it on Hulu late at night. It motivates me to work harder in the gym. I mean, if they push until they puke or pass out, why do I stop at the tiniest muscle pain or shortness of breath? I need to toughen up.

    I used to watch it and was so motivated and thought that I would quit if that were me and I were in some of those situations.

    Then a couple of years ago I stopped watching because I saw a lot of behind the scenes where a lot of the contestants gain the weight because they don't have the personal trainers and the customized food anymore. So it was kind of a let down for me.

    That's just me personally. But if they help you get motivated, then continue to watch.

  • I've watched it the last 5 seasons! Funny, I used to sit and watch it and do crazy things like eat chips and stuff while I was watching it and think, "OK, tomorrow I am going to start exercising and eating better". Well, this year I finally did. :smile:
