How long for water retention to go down? If my sudden peak in exercise had caused it.. will it adapt to my work out routines or will i just feel plump as long as I am working out?

Working out actually can increase dehydration because you are losing so much water via sweat. Your body will respond to this by holding on to the water that it already has, making you feel bloated and plump. However in order to compensate for this loss of water you need to drink more water. You're supposed to drink 8 glasses a day but I normally try to drink 10 or more0

Increased sodium intake gives you higher water retention.
