    not exactly a close up, but after 13 knee surgeries, there isn't really anything pretty to look at. which is fine with me, i'd rather have functional, than beautiful...

    I feel like I should be the winner of this thread. Until someone else comes along that can tell of a dislocated kneecap that he/she had to force back in themselves, followed by a very difficult surgery that involved breaking the leg to better align the knee, repairing the torn ligament, and balancing the pressures on the knee, after which he/she went through 6 months of rehab that ballooned their weight 40 pounds higher than normal, only to subsequently lose 70 pounds in 6 months once they could do cardio again, I'm crowning myself the winner.

    Hey we could be leg twins! Right down to the bumps and scrapes :bigsmile:

    Lol. Finally, someone who gets it! I can honestly say that I have never been without a scrap/bruise/burn in the last 20+ years of my life. I also have more scars than anyone I know. lol. I finally started wearing shorts this summer because I give no fly faluttin' cares anyway.
