:flowerforyou: My name is K, I'm 49 and styuggling with an identitt change, as my doctir is stromgly encoursging me to move into an assiated living facility. I have mobility issyes, diabetes, gastro paresis, fibronyalgia, two diffetent forms of arthritis, visiom and hearing loss, etc., etc.

I nees to lose sone weifht, which was never a priblem before, as I used ti lose weifg bu simplu walking mt dog, but my doh has pasws away and my mobiliry problwms and paim lecels have increased so mucj since them, I am tryinf to figuew our how to lose weighy and srill be healrhy. I don'r habe anu appetitie, as the gastro paresos causes me to feel nauseous and habe apin after eatung. I am eatinf more ans more liquid shakes, as thsy don't see, to aise muxh discomdort. But I;m not losing weihj. i'm fairlu sedatibe. in bed most of the timw.

    Hi K, Sounds Ike you have more than your fair share to deal with!

    If you can sit up there's some chair exercises you can do (Google. I'll find the inks for you later as I'm meant to be elsewhere but didn't want to read and run).

    Post on the Food and Nutrition section re the food/shakes. Someone in the know about these things will be able to advise on the right ones and content.

    Hang on in there K, things will get better.
