Getting rid of lower belly fat!

Hi,
So I have that awful lower stomach pooch that many women get after having kids, but I've never had kids and I still have it! I'm not fat anywhere else but it sticks out and looks awkward. I don't know why all the fat goes there because I'm definitely not apple shaped and have a big butt as well (which I want to keep lol).
About me:
I weigh around 145 lbs
I'm about 5'6"
I'm not extremely active but I try to go to the gym at least 3x's a week, and when I do go I usually just do cardio (elliptical, treadmill, etc.)
I try to do ab exercises on Youtube almost everyday.
My diet:
I do not eat meat
I rarely eat dairy
I don't really eat much junk food (except for dark chocolate everyday, which I don't consider junk food and a tall Starbucks frappuccino about twice a week).
I never eat fast food
I do eat a lot of whole grain bread and cereal (the healthy kind)
I try to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and eat tofu and meat substitutes for protein.
I think my diet is pretty good but you tell me.
I have pictures of my stomach but I'm not sure if I want to post them here lol.
Any tips?

My suggestion:
Weight lifting
I would use the 3x a week that you get to the gym to do a program like Stronglifts 5x5 or New Rules of Lifting for Women. Just doing ab exercises isn't going to get rid of the pooch.0 -
145 pounds at 5' 6" would be an appropriate weight for someone who is happy with her size and shape. Since you have a localized fat deposit that you consider to be out of proportion, you will have to diet down to a lower weight to remove it or reduce it. Exercise isn't going to alter a fat deposit. And I have been a vegan for 43 years, never been pregnant, and I still have a pooch.0

It's not awful, it's normal. You can sometimes reduce it by lowering BF%0
