Hi !!
After 7 months of using MFP I though I might introducing myself and start being more present in the MFP community.
I am French Canadian of 41 years old (so sorry for my english). Since I was young, I always liked sports. But with getting older, the work and the responsibilities (e.g. House) taking more and more of my time, exercise and taking care of myself were less and less a priority.
End of december 2013 I have realized that If I would continue at this rythme, my weight would continue to increase and increase, and I would not be able to enjoy the kind of activities I used to love (e.g. Hiking). So this is when I have decided to give MFP a try and promised myself that I would NOT consider MFP as a 'diet' but more as a 'TOOL', a 'tool' to help me realize what I eat vs my level of activity. MFP makes it so easy to track what we eat and our activities.
So I am introducing myself today and tell you that now that I am convinced of how it changed my life, I am planning to be more present in the community. I might share with you my occasional challenges and some great low fat recipes I find.
I wish this short introduction my convince some people to give it a try.
