When you buy the sprouts from the store is it ready to use or do you need to wash it first?

Unfortunately, washing won't help with that. If it is there, it tends to be actually inside the sprout. Just like with the spinich a couple of years ago. You can't wash it off. If you are concerned about that, I've never had a problem personally or known anyone who has, but you can grow your own. A little time consuming, but they taste even better fresh!0 -
