Closing in on my goal weight

I started off at 363 lbs. and I am now down to 232 lbs. It has taken me 6 months to lose what I have lost so far. I have lost weight before only to gain it all back plus more so my fear is that I won't be able to maintain my loss. Any tips on how to properly maintain weight loss when you reach your goal weight so you don't gain or keep losing?

just stick to your calorie goals. as long as you werent too crazy during weight loss (exercising 4 hours a day for extra calories, eating 1000 calories a day to lose weight, etc) then switching to maintenance should be too much a pain.

With 17 lbs. to go (congratulations on your loss!), set your goal to .5 lb. per week. The smaller deficit will help you transition to maintenance.
