Hey MFP,
While I put off updating my diary with all the junk I've eaten for the third day in a row (far too many Novemeber birthdays, far too little willpower), I thought I'd continue my daily topic posting streak with an unsolicited tip:
My sister and I at the same thing for lunch but she selected the 300 calorie version in the database while I opted for the 410 calorie one. My goal is to lose weight so I figure I'd be safe with the higher calorie version. Which brings me to my tip of the day:
It's OK to lie to yourself a little when it benefits your goals. If you're trying to lose weight, it's OK to choose the higher calorie version from the database or say you ate 3 cookies if you really only ate 2, if it'll help you reach your goals, then sure, lie to yourself.
Besides, no packaged or natural food calculation is 100% accurate anyway so play around with the numbers a little.
What do you guys think?

I agree, I estimate high...just to be safe haha. I feel like there is a margin of error for pre-packaged and prepared food too.0

I try to be honest, but when Im not sure I tend to go for the higher.0

I try to get as close as possible, but if I'm ever not sure I will estimate high.0
