Hello Fitness Pal Friends,
I was a regular here a bit over a year ago. Though I was quiet, I had a bit of success and enjoyed my time trying to get to my weight goals. Once the summer came, I gave up on the whole 'Diet' thing, but didn't plan on giving it up for long.
On June 15th, 2013 I lost control of my Ducati, crashing it into 3 tree's and a chain link fence. Now with a coma, 22+ broken bones (including back 4 times, pelvis, arms, hips, ribs, etc.) missing kidney and almost 30 surgeries; I have my original weight to lose PLUS an additional 15 pounds. Now the total is 33 pounds to lose.
And just to top things off, the medications I take 9 times per day are not helping. It seems like they make me hungry and do not let me lose any weight.
It's been just over a year I am not a spring chick. So I know weight wont fall off as easily as it once did. But, just looking for some friendly advice, words of encouragement, etc. This is my last year in my 20's and I wanted to "live it up" this year, but the injuries are taking their toll. I renew my gym membership (I used to go 3-4x a week), so hopefully that will help - just have to keep the impact to a minimum.
Thank you for reading
