Question on IF

Hey everyone.

I get the vibe around these parts that IF isn't too widely practiced or believed in, so I wanted to get your thoughts on whether you believed it is an effective fat-shedder or just another ineffective fad diet.

I find the idea of giving your body and extended time period to go into its fat stores to sustain activity quite logical in theory, just wondered if it was actually based on wide ranging results.

Thanks

IF only works in conjunction with a calorie deficit. Personally, I only do it because it helps me avoid overeating by limiting the times of the day I eat.

I don't see anything wrong with Intermittent Fasting as a weight loss option and think it is an interesting weight loss method. You still meet your macros for good health, eat enough to fuel your workouts and have room for snacks. It is also sustainable for the future. There are several methods so if one doesn’t fit your lifestyle, you could always try another one. There isn't any law that states you can't try it.
