Not sure how common this is, but I think it is rare. I am currently getting in shape to run the Bourbon Chase, I have no problem running on the treadmill, but whenever I run outside on the road I have a right foot issue. Right around the 2 mile mark (like clockwork) my right foot starts to lose feeling, and I have to stop running for sometimes up to 5 minutes before I can run again. It is ALWAYS the right foot and ALWAYS around 2miles. Can anyone help or give advice on this?

What I have tried so far: Tight my laces tighter and/or looser and have tried running faster and/or slower.

If it matters my HT/WT is 5'7 and 235 as of this morning (cutting down for the race). Thanks in advance

I'm not an expert but it sounds like you might possibly have a high instep that gets irritated by gradient changes. There are different shoe lacing techniques you can research to resolve this if it is the culprit. Do you have high arches?

I have never been told I had high arches, but that isn't to say I don't. I posted the same question to runner's world and a gentleman on there mentioned a different lacing technique, so I will read that article and see if something can't help. Thanks for the responses.
