question: is the make me a sammich thing really that funny? Was it ever?

I joked about it so much to my wife that two years ago, that's what I got as an anniversary gift. One sammich, on dry white bread, with one slice of ham.

Even better, why do some people think it is acceptable to say "sammich" anyway? Is that supposed to be cute to talk like a little kid who can't pronounce words correctly? Would we all be more adorable if we said p'sghetti also?
What women want is a lot of things.

But one thing I know for certain, I'd really rather not have my needs and wants lumped in with the rest of womenkind.

We do like to harbor this little fantasy that we are special snowflakes.

Indeed, and I feel the same way about my needs & wants lumped in with the rest of the male gender.

Without humor the world is an awfully dull place in which to live. I'll leave it at that. Good day, sir. Good day.

I find it interesting that an article about women being individuals somehow lumps all men into the same stereotype.
Now we need an article that addresses the situation the other way around. Or one that doesn't contradict itself.

But otherwise, it's a great article.

I think women should stay out of the kitchen... unless it's to do the dishes after I am done cooking...

I hate the whole what woman wants and what man wants. Everyone is different and wants different things. People who believe there is one set of rules to live by are just don't get it. Every single female is different , there are no clones walking around. You meet a person and together you figure out what you would like from each other. There is no game , no rules, none of that bullsh!t. Once you figure that out, then females that you meet, will be very easy to figure out. The. You can get on with what ratings is really about Romance!!

Thank you for your eloquent and well thought out rebuttal. I hadn't even considered the issue from that point of view, and quite obviously stand corrected.

    I'm a lucky girl. I have exactly this. :)

And I don't mind a bit making him sammiches. After all, he doesn't mind doing my laundry.
