I am currently suffering from a back injury and my doctor told me that I can no longer lift ANY weights. This is problematic because I know that I still need to "tone" while trying to continue on my weight loss journey. Prior to going to the doctor I was doing a bootcamp that worked; but if definately made the injury worse. I also tried to do lite weights; but it doesn't help my back either. So now I have a resistance band that I am going to try. My question is though in bootcamp we would would alternate legs, abs, and arm days. Should I take this same approach with the resistance band? OR is it ok to work those areas everyday since I am no longer lifting actual "weights".
Thanks for any info that can be provided.

If light weights made it worse, then bands with an equal amount of resistance will do the same. Ask your doctor or physical therapist what to do.
Generally speaking, full-body workouts are less likely to cause injuries than split workouts, since the stress on each body part is lower.0
