I am 5'2", 150 pounds, 38 years old, and I am trying to lose 20 pounds. I have been dieting and exercising for 3 months, and I haven't lost any pounds or inches!! I don't know what I am doing wrong! Any advice?

It would really help us if you could open your diary and tell us more about your routine. Without more details we're all just guessing about what you might or might not be doing wrong. :flowerforyou:0

Calorie deficit, all it takes.0

ok, I will open my food diary. In the past, I have used Sparkpeople, so I only have today logged on MFP. I pretty much eat the same foods everyday--but my calorie level is usually around 1400. At times, possibly on Saturdays or Sundays, I will eat over my calorie level. I'm lactose intolerant, and I just discovered that I have a wheat sensitivity. I have been trying to eat more protein too.
There is just no reason for me to not lose weight or inches while I'm watching my diet and exercising...it doesn't make sense and I am extremely frustrated. I walk for an hour every morning, and I walk again at night for 45 minutes to an hour. I also have incorporated some resistance band exercises. I'm completely lost!! And, I don't want to do a fad diet, but I am short and I am carrying around 20 pounds too much. I can tell that I my energy levels are zapped.0 -

volume measurements for solids usually are really inaccurate, consider getting a food scale0
