Qi Gong (chi gung) masters have taught this for 1500 years at least, as one of the secrets to longevity and health. I hope it's true, in fact I'm counting on it, haha. It sounds counter intuitive in our rat race society, but think about it, it makes sense. If the human heart only gets a billion beats ( I read that somewhere) and then dies, it would be beneficial to slow it down, along with the rest of your organs. Qi gung is known to even reverse signs of biological aging as well as heal the body and mind.0

lol that would mean that any sport and any moving would cause death. but the trueth is that physical activity correlates with a long life.
sports like qui gong get your stress level down. that´s why they are good for you an make you live longer0
