Dextrose IV solution

This might seem like an odd question and I'm more curious that really worried about it but I get a medical infusion once a month for my arthritis. Normally its a saline solution but apparently there is a shortage and they used the dextrose solution this time. After trying to find info thru google all I found was very technical and more about the differences in the body/veins. It is only a 5% solution so it's not a lot to begin with but I get a full bag every time. Anyone has any idea if this adds calories to my day or anything to that effect. It's only once a month so I'm sure it won't really matter in the whole but still wondering minds want to know. I'm curious as it says it's used to give some energy to patients.
Thanks!

200 calories per liter of solution. 50g of carbs/sugar. Dextrose=Glucose.

Yikes! That's a lot! Thank you! I wonder how I log that... Hopefully, they can use the saline again the next time. I always feel very tired after this med and apparently the sugar did nothing to change that. I just had a long nap as always afterwards.

I honestly do not think you should be worrying about logging something that is for the purpose of treating a medical condition, especially an IV drip. It is only once a month, and 200 calories extra once a month is not going to impact your weight loss.
