Late Breakfast?

I usually just drink a few cups of coffee for breakfast around 8 or 9. The coffee fills me up and keeps my hunger at bay until around 11-12. Around noon is when I really eat my "breakfast". Snack at around 2. Lunch around 4-4:30. Dinner anywhere from 7-9:30.

I've recently just started doing this because of working full time. Is not eating til 11 or 12 a bad idea? I'm not skipping breakfast...I'm postponing it.

It is fine. Eat at whatever times work for you.

There's no good or bad times for eating; it's whatever works for you. We all have different schedules. This morning I got up at 5:30, ran 5K, drank a protein shake, went to work and had my usual "breakfast" at 11am. I'm having a snack for "lunch" as we speak and will have a big dinner around 7:00pm. The only danger to fasting for a long time would be if you were so hungry when you finally did eat that you overate or ate junk food.

It's absolutely fine. There are studies that show it doesn't matter what time you eat. As a mater of fact, if you look into Intermittent fasting (IF) you will find that going a long period of time without food can help you in your weight loss efforts. I did it for awhile and had great success.... but I struggle to stick to diets with my family around! Best of luck to you!

    Eat whenever you want.
It's not when you eat that counts.
    It's what you eat.

You can eat whenever you want. There are no 'time' rules, just personal preference.

You've got to do what works for you and your lifestyle.
