estimating calories...

I worked out & then went to lunch with a friend and had a great asparagus and ricotta calzone. It seemed like it was meant as a one-person entree...so I was estimating the calories as 500. Then, I got home & emailed the restaurant. He was very nice, got back to me right away...the calzone was 965 calories!! Ouch. Gotta get back on the elliptical!! I guess I proved that people typically underestimate the calories they eat!
