How low is too low??

I set my setting at lightly active ( I have 2 small children and spend a decent amount of time at work up walking around) so it gave me a goal of 1780. I have been logging my calorie intake consistently, and even if I am the slightest unsure I always log a higher calorie intake rather than less to be safe, and less on calories burned for the same reason, however I still find myself falling short of the 1780. I know that in essence this is good, and I have felt more energetic and not sick, but I just wanted some opinions, how low below this goal is too low?

When you start having trouble eating 1200....then I'd be concerned.
Since I don't know what kinds of foods your eating, it's kind of hard to advise, but consider:
- Peanut Butter
- Avacodo
- Almonds
- Full Fat foods (dietary fat =/= body fat)
- protein shake if your having trouble getting protein in your diet
edit: I should add, that I do think you should try and get as close as possible to whatever calorie goal MFP gives you. I just don't see a real need to panic until your getting less than 1200. At that point it's getting into dangerously low calorie consumption that could cause potential health problems.0 -
Eat them, they are yours. You need the energy to burn the weight off.0

In my opinion, if you're not losing more than 1% of your body weight per week on average and are not eating well below 1200 on average, you're fine.0
