There was a post titled "Inspired by the chili dog.... only
I was wondering if anyone has a copy of this recipe that they can repost. I have made it quite a few times but always came back to the post for the recipe and by mistake never printed it out. The owner of the post must have deactivated her account and the recipe is gone. :-( I am in dire need! lol Thanks!

A WINNER OF A WIENER
Everyone wants to break down and swallow a yummy chili dog every now and then. And when you can make one at home that has so few calories and fat grams, you can enjoy it guilt-free! No need to load up on fatty chili and calorie-packed pups when you can throw together your very own diet-friendly version. One that is so low cal that you can chow down on TWO of 'em and still take in WAY fewer calories than you'd get from a regular chili dog. Check out HG's special recipe below:
Ingredients:
1 Hebrew National 97% Fat Free Hot Dog
2 Tbsp. Boca Meatless Chili
1 slice Wonder Light Wheat or White Bread (or another light bread with around 40 calories per slice)
Directions:
Prepare the hot dog and the chili according to the package (or, in the case of the dog, however you like!). Place hot dog inside bread and wrap the bread around it to form a "roll." Top with Boca Meatless Chili, and voila, you have your AWESOME chili dog!

I had no idea there was any such thing as a 40 calorie hot dog! Holy crap I think I know what I'm going shopping for.0 -
I'm not sure about your chili dog, but once you find the recipe you might want to check out recipenut.com, you can save recipes there from other websites. This way all your recipes are in one place and you don't have to try to remember where you saw it last :happy:0

Chuck, I didn't know they did either! They are very hard to find around here.0

No-Buns-About-It Chili Dog Chili
PER SERVING (1 cup): 129 calories, 1.25g fat, 834mg sodium, 22g carbs, 5g fiber, 8g sugars, 9.5g protein -- POINTS® value 2*
That isn't a typo -- this is chili inspired by chili dogs. Take a bow, fellas! (Can hot dogs bow?)
Ingredients:
Two 14.5-oz. cans stewed tomatoes (Mexican-style, if available), not drained
2 green bell peppers, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 large tomato, chopped
7 hot dogs with about 40 calories and 1g fat each (like Hebrew National 97% Fat Free Beef Franks), chopped
One 15-oz. can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 1/2 tbsp. yellow mustard
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Optional: salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper
Optional topping: shredded fat-free cheddar cheese
Directions:
Roughly chop the stewed tomatoes, reserving all juice. Set aside.
Bring a large pot sprayed with nonstick spray to medium-high heat on the stove. Add chopped bell peppers and onion. Stirring occasionally, cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add chopped (fresh) tomato, give mixture a stir, and continue to cook for 1 minute.
Add stewed tomatoes and the reserved juice to the pot. Add all remaining ingredients and mix well. Raise heat to high and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce heat to medium low. Cover and allow to simmer for 20 minutes, removing the lid occasionally to stir.
Remove pot from heat and remove the lid. Allow chili to thicken for about 20 minutes.
If you like, season to taste with salt, black pepper, and/or cayenne pepper. Top each serving with cheese (optional), and enjoy!

They are pretty good! A little on the spicy side but they had to do something to make up for the lack of fat. I found they were best cooked in simmering water as opposed to grilling as they are basically fat free. My husband loves them with canned chili and cheese! I found that the cheapest store brand (Kroger) Hot Dog Buns had the least amount of calories.0

Oscar Meyer has a very tasty 40 cal 1 gm fat hot dog. I hate that they charge more for them. I stock up the freezer when they go on sale.0
