What is the most you've lost in a week? How did you do it?

Well, I lost a lot the first week (almost 7 pounds), but that was mostly water weight. I've lost around 3.5 pounds a few weeks, but my goal is 2 and I am not trying to lose more than that, I just have a lot to lose and it sometimes goes more quickly than for people who don't have as much to lose.0

Yeah first week 7lbs isn't too hard.
Ongoing i used to be able to do about 3.5lbs (when I was younger) but generally aim for 2lbs - 2.5lbs now.0 -
I lost 7 or 8lbs that first week. It's mostly water weight. I just logged in two days ago for my 100 day long in And if I take my average over the entire time I'm still at 1.8lbs a week. Some weeks it's more, some less but overall it averages out to the normal 2lbs a week I'm set at 1.5lb loss a week now anyhow.0

Yep, 9 lbs first week, but it's deceptive because it's water weight. 2.5 pounds the following week, which is much closer to a reasonable goal. Any more than that, and it's likely not fat you're losing.0

At my first week weigh in with my dr I had lost 12 lbs, water weight and some baby weight I suppose. I spent the next two weeks gaining and losing the same 5 lbs. now I am back on track this week and have lost about 4 lbs so far. I was prescribed Phentramine and I am counting calories and portions, and I also get the lipotropic b-12 shot once a week. the dr says I will average about 4 lbs a week if done correctly.0

I remember losing 7lbs a week a loooonng time ago I guess I'm just feeling a little discouraged, I had a goal to lose 2 lbs per week and I'm behind like 3-4 wks. I was really looking forward to weighing 180 by my B-Day on November 8th....and I didn't I weighed 187 But I will keep working at it and I know I will happen0

I have AVERAGED 2+ a week.... I have gone 3 weeks without a loss, then 7 pounds in a week. I will lose a pound or two for 2-3 weeks in a row, then nothing for 2-3 weeks, and then a big drop. I am not stressing about it, I know I am on track to lose 1.5 - 2 pounds a week. I haven't always made the best choices, I have had treats now and then, some weeks I workout more than others. I have stayed within my net calorie goals every day. I am working on a lifestyle change, not just "dieting" to lose weight. It will take time, no sense in getting upset about it taking so long. Taking weight off quick just makes it come back all the quicker.0
