Had my surgery 4/2/14 down 50 pounds and loving it!

I have been trying to decide on whether I should have surgery or not. There are so many people who are totally against it but I have several friends who have had amazing results. I am going to try and lose my extra weight by counting calories this time but next step is the sleeve if this doesn't work. Please keep us posted and maybe some before and after pics please!!! Has the recovery been hard?

I'm in the same boat but more on the side of doing it since health wise it would do me good. I go to a seminar Monday and my daughter has her apt with her doc to get even more info so I will go to that also. Hang in there.

I was just about to do it in March, although I was not morbidly obese and was lower than the required weight for the surgery but I was thinking seriously about it, since I didn't want to live all my life with extra weight.

I talked to my sister and she told me that after you undergo the surgery you depend only on "liquid" meals for almost 1 month, she told me if you did that without the surgery you'd most probably lose some weight. I was also very afraid of the sagging skin issue.

So, I made my research and decided to diet until the summer, if I dont drop any weight then I will undergo the surgery. I started following LCHF diet since mid-April and today my scale is telling me that I lost 12 kg's (26 lbs) in three month.
