850 calorie challenge

Earlier this month, the UNHCR announced it was running out of money for refugees in Africa.

The solution?

Cut refugee rations, in some cases, to just 850 calories per day.

The details of why are in the post and I thought it would be worth sharing. I am putting it here not in one of the weight loss sections because I don't advocate such a diet from a weight loss perspective, and I am only going to do it for one day.
