That's really interesting. The previous wisdom I had always read was that slower was better on the lowering portion, as it added more resistance than lowering quickly.0

Interesting articles for sure. I can see the points to an extend. For myself, it depends on the exercise and the amount of weight i'm pushing that determines my bar speed. I do try and switch it up from time to time tho.0
