Ok I started exercising and doing alot or whats alot of cardio for me. Last week I weighed myself at 149.5 this morning 1 week later I just weighed myself at 156. I know muscle holds water and I quit smoking and thats suppose to add weight. 7 piunds just seems extreme to me for q week.
So my question is will the excess water be gone by next Monday or should I wait 2 weeks. Because it was just discouraging to see that big of a gain. 5 pou ds or less probably woukdnt of bothered me but 7 is alot.

When I started weight training, my weight went up a couple of pounds and stayed there for a whole month. With quitting smoking - I have no idea.
Personally, I'd even give it more than two weeks.0 -
You will always have a shift in water weight based upon what is happening in your body at any given time. Just try to take readings at the same time everyday in the same scenario. And take the lowest weight and that will be your real weight because water can do nothing but add weight.0
