Good morning! This is day 11 of MFP. My weight is still the same! Thinking of eating less calories. Do you think this would be a good idea? Craving bread & butter (not just one slice of bread) Does anyone have any suggestions? I feel like giving up.

I am 59 yrs. My weight is 159.2 lbs. Height is 5'3" My daily cal.are 1,270
Weekly activities running,cycling,gym classes-Zumba, yoga
Weekly weight loss 1-2lbs
Goal is 19lbs.
I have no health issues

Since your goal is to lose 19lbs, set-up your MFP profile to reflect your lifestyle before any exercises. Set your weekly weight loss goal to 1lb. per week. Enter your exercises and eat back about half of those calories.

As a rule of thumb, the following weekly targets would give a balance between minimizing negative side effects and seeing a reasonable weekly weight loss:
More than 75 lbs: 2 lbs/week
40-75 lbs: 1.5 lbs/week
10-40 lbs: 1 lb/week
Less than 10 lbs: 0.5 lb/week
