Lifting Success (NSV-video)

This success isn't about losing weight..... to me, it's even BETTER!
I used to hate deadlifts. I couldn't get my form right, I couldn't keep my grip, I felt weird. In January when I really started working on my dead lift technique, I would practice with just the bar. I slowly started adding weight until I pretty much maxed out at 145. (not really a max, because I could do like 3 reps of 145, but not consistently.)
Friday I pulled 235 with no wraps or straps. WHAT!??? I weigh 122 pounds. I was freaking ECSTATIC! And still am! I have fallen in love with deadlifts and the other traditional lifts, so much so that I am going to be competing in December in a powerlifting competion at the 123lb weight class.
If you are starting to lift and you don't think you'll ever progress, just keep pushing on. You will get there. Persistence and determination along with consistency are key!
Here is a video of my 235 pound lift. (sumo stance)
