Has anyone here tried it? What were your thoughts? Challenges? Did it work? Any advice? Going to do it at the beginning of August.

And then read it again. Seriously, stop with the cleanses.

The plan costs about $180.00 and it's not going to do a thing that you can't do on your own. If you're only drinking these shakes for 9 days and you're avoiding calorie dense foods that put you over your calorie needs you're sure to lose weight. Just do this on your own and save yourself a lot of money. Find a lifestyle plan that you can do for years, not some fad diet gimmick.

My advice is that there is not nor has there ever been any such thing as a cleanse. Your body "cleanses" itself very well.

"Cleanses" are schemes to separate people desperate to lose weight from their hard-earned money.

For the $180 it costs you can buy a food scale and pay for a gym membership for several months.

You don't need to do a cleanse. MFP works great and it's free.

I remember somebody talking about a cleanse. (can't remember which scam products though) They said they had kind of a brain fog and in the next moment claimed "mental clarity." They documented a month long ordeal, lost some water weight, got really mad at people and their thread got nuked….

I suggest you read the provided thread.

but that is much tougher than just doing a cleanse!

The only cleanse I ever did:

A bottle of GoLytely from the drug store and never left the bathroom for 2 days.

That was right before my colonoscopy.

And I didn't lose an ounce of weight from it. However, I did feel like crap on toast.

But it ACTUALLY works and it works long term

why are YOU doing this "cleanse"?

do you think it will "kick start" something?
do you think it will remove "toxins"?
do you think you'll lose weight?

what are your reasons for it?

Because some celebrity that has never had a weight issue but decided this was great got on an infomercial and promoted it to no end saying how skinny they got from it and how great they feel now that they have starved themselves for 9 whole days.

Because some celebrity that has never had a weight issuewas paid to do an infomercial and promoted it to no end saying how skinny they got from it and how great they feel now that they have starved themselves for 9 whole days without actually doing it.

    Fixed that for you.

I ALMOST had it right. Thank you Brett!
