Def don't lift weights everyday. The best way to start is do weight lifting like MON-WED-FRI and focus on Cardio the rest of the week... but leave yourself a day to rest. Make sure you get getting enough proteins if you are lifting weights too
Are you looking to build muscle or just lose weight??

To get a better aerobic workout, pick a weight that you can begin with and do 10-12 reps and then do about 3 sets with that weight (or maybe try a small increase in 5 pd increments). You don't want to do so much weight that you cannot perform the exercise with proper form. That takes away. Go slow and remember to breathe when you push out.0

Definitely weight lift every other day, cardio the rest. 3 sets of 10/12 is the key.0
