Hia,
Finally in my forties I got into exercise and now love a variety of cardio exercises plus yoga (not sure if that's cardio/ strength or both).
I think it would help me to get into focused muscle toning now.
I don't actually know where to start. It's a new area for me. Could anyone advise?
Thanks.
Xx

If you want to build you can add in strength training. If you are referring to getting more definition, that is a function of weight loss and lower body fat percentages.
In any case, I like FitnessBlender on YouTube for their routines and exercises.0 -
if you have a gym check out programs like strong lifts, starting strength, strong curves and new rules of lifting for women
if you are working out from home invest in some adjustable dumbbells and some kettlebells rnging in size from 10-35 pounds and work on compound exercises that will work multiple muscles at once
if you dont have access to any weights, check out out bodyweight programs like you are your own gym and convict conditioning0
