Can't seem to get back on track

Ok so as of April, I had 25 lbs to reach my goal weight, which would be a total loss of 100 lbs. In April we had a disruption to our whole family life. Long story short, we let my hubbies friend move in and we were so busy helping him, running him around, etc we just totally got off our routine. Four months later, I've gained 18 lbs! I did in that time start an antidepressant for anxiety, and have two injuries (ankle, and wrist). I think a few lbs was from lifting, but the majority was crappy eating choices! Through most all of my injuries I exercised of some sort, and for the past three weeks have been doing c25k three days a week, lifting three days a week, and walking two days a week. This week, knee injury. I've got the exercising down, because I love to work out. I however cannot get my mind right about eating! Idk I guess I'm looking for new tips, encouragement etc?

Ok cheeks , Cindy here. You were so close to goal, dont let a few speed bumps get in your way of success. You can do this. Dig out you measuring cups, dust off your trusty kitchen scale and git r done.

Hows that for a pep talk...

I feel your pain. I had lost 83 lbs two years ago. I loved working out and was so proud of myself then BAM emergency gall bladder removal and I got a rare side effect I was down and out for months. I am now back on and I am determind to do this. I will say that I ended getting pregnant and didn't know it till I was almost 8 months along. I was wondering why I was gaining all the weight back lol. I have PCOS and was told I would never have kids. Losing the weight helped me obviously to get pregnant. Now I am determined to lose the weight for her. Now I am starting all over again. Its ok if you fall sometimes we just gotta get back up. You are doing that so that says a lot. Good luck and if you would like some support along the way feel free to friend me.

I have found that when I put everyone else's needs ahead of my own, that is when I have gotten into trouble.

Eat well for YOU. Put your health and weight loss goals front and center. It is much easier to make the decision to eat within your calorie limits if you are thinking about your overall goals/objectives. For example, I am really committed to getting my body into a particular condition through weight lifting (and eating at a calorie deficit). Because I am so committed to that goal, I really am not interested in doing or eating things that will detract from it. But that requires putting myself first!

i've been stuck in losing weight too. i think the best thing is to eat more fruits and vegetables for snacks instead of carbs and a really filling breakfast to get you through the day
