Gained 50 pounds while keeping training

Since October 2013 I gained 50 pounds. I was wondering whether I gained some muscle at least... In the past 9 months, I kept training (50% cardio and 50% weight lifting). I managed to increase the loads in my weight lifting routines so I presume I gained a bit of muscle... However, how can we estimate the ratio (probably something around 70% of fat and the rest of muscle)?

I am still trying to gain weight because I would like to be stronger so I recently reduced the cardio and increased the weight lifting sessions. I am 178lbs for 6'4, so my BMI is 21.54.

    Theoretically your gain would be ~18 muscle in optimal conditions. However, it sounds like you were pretty slender and underweight.That being said, the muscle gain could have exceeded that figure. Im not saying it did, but, its surely possible.
