To all your "Insane" people out there where HRM:
What is your max heartrate during a given Insanity workout? I feel like mine is super hight, but want to compare. Today I did Cardio Power and Resistance and peaked at 190. That is pretty typical for an insanity workout. My average was 155 (including about 5-10 minute after the dvd was over). I am female, 26, 5'8", 155 and 20% BF according to the beachbody calculator.
Post yours so we can compare! Thanks!!!

I think the most I've maxed is 170, which is high for me. I have a lower RHR. I'm 26, 5'10", 168 pounds and about 22% BF0

The highest I have ever seen mine during Insanity is around 160, but my HRM has said I spiked around 185 a couple times. I usually sit between 135 and 150 for the majority of the sets though. I'm M 33, 5"10, 181lbs, and around 18% BF.0

I peak around 180 (I don't have a HRM, I do it old school taking my pulse). I'm 29, 5'7" and 160 lbs and about 21% bf. I'm often around 155-160.0

Holly I am at 185, 190, 5'6", 153 pounds and 30, I am still at 33% and I end at 156,-1610

I'm 5'3 145lbs and my HRM says my max is around the 180's but through out the workout I'm usually ranging from 160 - 170.0

That is pretty much where I am at too.
Thanks for the input everyone, interesting to see where people's stats are at. I just push to my max, rest and get back in. I don't want any regrets when I finish!0 -
Just wondering what people recomend as far as HRM's go? I bought a watch from walmart and brought it back because it sucked! I have heard that the ones with the chest straps are better which I can imagine. I plan on starting Insanity after the holidays and Im in the market for an HRM.0

walmart has one with the chest strap - it was only 45.00 bucks! My husband wanted it but he only used it twice. I had the one for 25.00 bucks so since he stopped using his I took it! hahahahaha
Although tax time I do plan to get a better one or at least one that is girly LOL
But for now I'm happy with it and it tells me what I want to know. At first it is confusing to operate but after actually reading the handbook, it seems too easy!0 -
I have a Timex Ironman with a chest strap. It wires well, but does have to be in the right stop or it will read an off heart rate. It is mostly black with pink buttons. Just enough girl :-)0

Today I did pure cardio and maxed out at 191, the highest I've ever gotten with my new HRM. My max is 199 so I was pretty damn close. My average is between 150-165 doing any of the first 5 insanity workouts (yep, I'm only on day 5, oh boy).0
