Yum. I would have my eggs "sunny side up" if I could baste them properly. I love a runny yolk, but not runny whites!
ebelskivers w/ butter and fresh strawberry jam0 -
Never seen them but now that I have, I will try to get one! Sounds YUM
[One 'secret' to great runny yolk but cooked white: fry in good butter. Use fresh eggs that are at room temp. Salt & Pepper. After they start to cook - firm up - add a couple of drops of water - JUST A BIT - cover immediately [glass lid is best] when the yolks get slightly skinned over, the steam has done its work: Now take the eggs to the plate and EAT. Runny yolk and cooked whites. accompany with ebelskivers w/ butter and fresh strawberry jam]
Beignets with powdered sugar0 -
Yes! This is how I make basted eggs. This is not a picture of an egg I made, but rather what it should look like under the glass lid right before you take it off the heat.
And yum!!! to beignets with powered sugar
