Better results with drinking more H20

I have been increasing my water levels from 8-10 cups , to 12-20 cups of water each day. I have found since doing this that I am getting a lot better results with losing weight
I lift more weights and take Whey Protein , so I know that factors in some of it BUT does water play that big of a role in weight loss to see significant changes in everything
Since taking more water, I have cut a hour off my training and still losing the same weight... I just dont know if this is a phase or is water the secret medicine we need to lose weight.

when did you up your intake of water? good chance that the loss you saw was water weight
it sounds counter intuitive, but the more water you drink the less your body holds onto0 -
Water doesn't directly burn fat but it helps your internal organs work at optimum performance which helps your weight loss efforts. For, example, sodium holds water weight. Water flushes the sodium and as a result your body releases the extra weight. There are other benefits as well:

That would make sense. I just looked online and couldnt find anything, but that helps me, I was hoping H2O was a new suppliment I could take for free
