Protein Shakes

I'm new to working out. Should I be drinking protein shakes? If so, how often, what kind...etc? Also, looking for something that is economical.

    only drink them if you need them to get to an appropriate protein amount. if you can get in 100 g's (or whatever your protein goal is) without them then dont bother

    I agree. You want to get the majority of your protein from whole foods if possible. If you need to supplement, that's when shakes and bars come in handy.
