Starting Insanity

So my roommate and I started the Insanity program a little over a week ago. I haven't been following the meal plan, but I do count my calories (1200 daily).
While I notice an improvement in terms of stamina from when I first started, I haven't noticed any physical changes with my body yet. When can I start expecting results? I've heard people noticing a difference as soon as the first week's over, so I'm a bit concerned that I'm doing something wrong. Should I just wait a bit longer? Should I do the "mini-meals" throughout the day like the meal plan suggests? Should I exercise in addition to the workouts? For those who've done the program before, what do you think?

It might take a full 3 or 4 weeks to see changes. And I would definitely add calories. You are burning a LOT of them during Insanity. Don't starve your body but find good cards and proteins to help you get through the workouts. Those Fit Tests will show you the improvement and give you some motivation.
Good luck and hang in there!0 -
Ive seen alot of people say they dont see anything until after week 2 which is normal it takes your body a little while to adjust and to start loosing fat and gaining muscle. Theres a saying it takes 4 weeks for you to notice something your friends notice after 8 and the rest of the world after 12 or something like that
Im doing hip hop abs right now but want to start insanity after im done and would like to see your results0 -
I saw only small results after month 1. You really see it more in month 2. I think it also varies on how much you need to lose.0
