I have the will - need to find the way.

This is my first day using MFP, but certainly not my first time attempt to lose weight. I have tried all sorts of ways to get thinner (healthy and not so much), but this time is different. I no longer want to be thin. I will be 30 in Feburary, and I want to be strong. I want to wake up with energy. I want to be free of all my nasty habits. I want to love my body, and I am ready to push myself to the limit.

I have been overweight since childhood. This is, at times, a scary change for me, but I am ready to see what I am made of. I am on this journey solo, so I am hoping to find the motivation, inspiration and support I need through MFP.

Best of luck to everyone, and I hope we can all become acquainted.
