But nothing makes steamed broccoli taste better than the juices from a barely medium-rare hunk of steak!
That is why I don't steam it. I roast broccoli with garlic and I can eat it day in and day out.
Not saying I don't love a medium rare (on the rare end) hunk of steak. Oh I do. I really, really, really, really do. Especially a ribeye that takes up half my plate.0 -

That is why I don't steam it. I roast broccoli with garlic and I can eat it day in and day out.

Normally I do roast broccoli, when cooking for 6. But the family is out of town and I was tired, so... 4 minutes in the microwave steamer, the steak took 5 on the grill. Boom, done!0 -

I'll give you possibly soggy on the broccoli (though it wasn't mushy), but I fail to see how my beautiful grilled steak was soggy!0 -
