Is it harmful to eat your dinner just an hr before going to bed. Concerned dinner usually holds most my calorie, and protien (which is still about 20 short of my goal) and by that time of day my sugar and fat go over goal, sometimes alittle sometimes more.
So I'm wondering what happens to all the calories and nutrients when your in bed for the night. Seems like I should give them time to process or something.

No, when you decide to eat is personal preference. I always have a snack before bed. I don't really know what happens to all the food, but I assume it digests like other food, and works to turn into poo.

Personal preference is the only factor. I can't eat too close to bed time because lying down with a full belly gives me heartburn. But your body doesn't shut down while you sleep and having to eat at specific times is really a myth.

No. Unless you have some sort of health issue which precludes it.

My mom would always say that it is dark in your tummy all the time so it really does not know what time it is.

Except she would say it in Spanish so it sounded better =-D

I may be wrong but I read once that eating a large meal and going to bed increases the risk of heart attack in the early morning hours
