Hi all, I am mainly making this post as reassurance to myself, but I would love your support. Wednesday and Thursday I went up to D.C to tour colleges. Being in the environment, I wanted to experience the interesting restaurants and enjoy some Mexican food for my birthday. I was concerned, however, about going over my caloric goals. In the past, I would hop on the weight loss train, only to binge out a few days later. It would always start with a big dinner than feeling like "Oh well what's the point." This time I am determined for things to be different. So, In preparation I ate reasonable breakfasts and lunches, kept my heart rate up on the walking tours, and logged everything. While I did allow myself to go about 300-500 calories over my daily goal, I refrained from binging and am ready to get back on track tomorrow. This is the first time I have ever felt good about myself after taking a brief shift from my daily calorie goals, and while I do not intend to make a habit of this, it feels good to know that I remained in control.
