***Edit: I realize how terrible that topic headline was. However, I cannot change it. I'm a teacher who is new to this site and am looking for another person in the profession to use almost as a buddy of sorts to share stories and discuss fitness goals/progress etc.
Hey guys,
I'm a 26 -soon to be 27 year old teacher. I'm currently teaching drama, outdoor education and running an athletics program. For the longest time I've used the blown out knee and being too busy with school as an enabler to not spend as much time in the gym or eating as healthy as possible.
I'm specifically looking for another teacher or teachers to share experiences with as I know that they will fully appreciate what I mean about the squeeze in time, or also the fact that while I can be as responsible as anyone else in regards to my food intake when I'm on my own... the staff room can quickly become a WAR ZONE. Combine that with the stresses of the job and it's been tough. In my 3 years of teaching I've been able to take 2 of my summers and quite clean up my diet and work out Regimen .
Was up to 290 in May dropped to 279 by mid June, stayed there until early July and now I'm 269. My healthiest weight was 275 prior but built quite differently with lots of muscle and fit from full football and rugby games. My goal is to get down to 230 or so.
Anyways, feel free to reply to the post, or shoot me a private message.
